The mid-weeks assignments were a good way to get a jump start on the course. I was nervous at first diving into my own domain even though I had begun in the fall. I think the biggest hurdle was being confident in setting up my domain. Looking through all the themes was fun but in the end I stuck with what I had previously chosen. What I most enjoyed was joining the new social media sites and being able to play around on them to get the hang of them. I also enjoyed playing around with my domain to see what I liked, didn’t like, and what I wanted my site to look like. While there are still things I want to change or add to my domain I believe I’m at least off to a good start. One thing I’m still working on is the subdomain. I set it up, but not sure if it was done properly, so I’m going to keep playing around with it till I am confident. I was hesitant at first that I wouldn’t properly embed links into my blog but that turned out to be the easiest part of it. So far, I don’t have larger issues surrounding my work, I think the only issue might be that I tend to second guess my work instead of being confident in it. I’m really looking forward to learning more about my domain and how to properly run and maintain it.
